Brandon Sheppard Records Top-10 Finish in High Bank Heist at Eagle Raceway
Show-Me 100 Weekend at Lucas Oil Speedway Next
SHINNSTON, W.Va. (05/19/25) – Brandon Sheppard put together a strong and consistent weekend during the inaugural Malvern Bank High Bank Heist at Eagle Raceway with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).
The driver of the Valvoline / Seubert Calf Ranches No. 1 Rocket1 Racing / Ace Metal Works / XR1 Rocket Chassis / Durham Racing Engine Super Late Model posted fourth- and sixth-place finishes in Thursday and Friday’s preliminary features, respectively, before capping the weekend with a seventh-place run in Saturday’s $50,000-to-win finale.
“It wasn’t exactly the weekend we were hoping for, but consistency is key,” Sheppard said. “We battled some adversity on Thursday night, but overall, I’m pleased with how the weekend went. It’s great to come to a new track like this and see such a strong turnout from the fans. This is a first-class facility, and I’m looking forward to coming back in the future.”
While Rocket1 Racing’s weekend concluded in Nebraska, their busy week began Tuesday at Marshalltown Speedway for the fourth round of the FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota miniseries.
Starting the opener in ninth via a third-place finish in his heat, Sheppard surrendered one spot in the 50-lapper to finish 10th.
Turning his attention to Eagle Raceway for the inaugural Malvern Bank High Bank Heist, Brandon rebounded on Thursday after suffering a right-rear flat midway through the 40-lapper. He charged from the rear of the field to salvage a sixth-place result in the preliminary feature.
Friday saw Sheppard post his strongest outing of the week. After claiming a heat race victory, he registered a consistent fourth-place finish in the second preliminary. He chased Jonathan Davenport, Hudson O’Neal, and Kyle Bronson across the line with Garrett Alberson finishing fifth.
Brandon’s weekend concluded with a seventh-place performance in Saturday’s $50,000-to-win High Bank Heist finale.
Sheppard is currently seventh in the latest LOLMDS point standings.

Rocket1 Racing is gearing up for the Memorial Day weekend as the LOLMDS rolls into the pristine Lucas Oil Speedway for the annual Show-Me 100 tripleheader. The action begins with Thursday’s Cowboy Classic and continues Friday with the Tribute to Don and Billie Gibson—two pivotal preliminaries leading into Saturday’s $50,000-to-win Show-Me 100 finale.
