Brandon Sheppard repeats in One for the Road at FALS

Monday night found the team at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway, where they entered the second annual One For The Road presented by I-Beam Sliding Doors. The $15,000-to-win Castrol FloRacing Night in America event drew a field of 31 entries to the ¼-mile oval. Brandon qualified sixth fastest in time trials before winning his heat race to earn the third-starting spot for the night’s 50-lap feature. Sheppard worked his way to the lead on a lap 20 restart, and once out front never looked back on his way to his second-straight triumph in the event and his 15th overall win of the season.
